Interactive methods in Geography
studying and “The programme for
development of critical thinking
through reading and writing”

Summary
The article focuses on the methodological version of a
programme for developing of students’ critical thinking
through writing and reading. Two strategies are
represented: “I know – I want to learn – I’ve learned”
and “Cubing”. Through analyzing and generalization
of texts created by the students, or unknown ones,
learning of new material is achieved. At the same time
the strategies help revising and learning new terms
and rulers. The method increases students’ interest
and activity and the learning process more effective
